Headaches are often caused by tight muscles or stiff neck joints. The under lying cause is often poor head posture and/or faulty ergonomics at work -such as working on a laptop computer for long periods. Pain usually radiates into the scalp on one or both sides.  Stress can make the pain worse.

The physiotherapist will assess posture, muscle strenght, joint flexibility and working posture. Depending on findings a treatment plan will be devised.

Treatment will involve therapeutic exercises, postural correction, relaxation techniques and an ergonomic reveiw.
